Join author Denise Zubizarreta at Dale Zine in Miami for Colonialism, Culture, and Identity: An Evening with Denise Zubizarreta.
Through a reading from her book, Colonial Stockholm Syndrome, Denise will explore how colonial histories continue to shape culture, identity, belonging, and the ways we understand ourselves and one another. The evening will invite thoughtful conversation about inherited narratives, internalized systems, and what it means to examine—and reclaim—the stories that influence our lives.
The event will include an author reading, audience discussion, and book signing.
Copies will be available for purchase from Dale Zine. Guests who have not yet purchased the book are encouraged to buy their copies at the event to support this local independent bookstore. Denise will sign copies following the conversation.
